Abstract

During normal pregnancy systemic changes can occur in all pregnant, and in a   similar way that are considered physiologic, mainly due to the effect of the hormones during this important period in the women’s life. These changes can occur at any level in the body and the visual system doesn’t escape from them, that is why we consider important to review and let know initially the eye changes that may appear during the normal pregnancy thus once they are present we can advise the pregnant in the correct way and alert between what is considered physiologic during pregnancy and what it is not; and   give the correct advise to the   pregnant in the ophthalmology consultation.
